I mailed mine too. A big disappointment. Came back almost exactly the same. Just some very very faint red postmarks. boo.
But then, – at least I know they can get one thing to me w/o wrecking it. I suppose if I had said “DO NOT BEND” the wrecking-odds might have swung in my favor. It seems to work every time. (They bend it)

Well done! I’m thinking of mailing the book off the last week. But then again, I’m traveling south soon, so I could mail while on our trip!

Yay! You mailed it. Getting it back in your mailbox is delicious! I noticed mine didn’t undergo much wrecking through the mail either. Not even when I ripped the tape off. Oh well. Still a fun process!

It might be a good time to fess up — it did come back, as Leah mentioned, the VERY NEXT DAY (in LESS than 24 hours) and in PRISTINE CONDITION. Total wreck-fail. LOL

And as I was reading other WTJ blogs today, I learned this experience is not unheard of. So have faith and mail that book, folks!!! Just don’t blame me if it gets wrecked in the process.

I’ve been putting off the mailing project, but my daughter is visiting this week from out of state and I’m thinking about sending it home with her to mail to me from Colorado (deep, calming breaths might be required). Hope your journal returns soon so your wreckage can continue!
