Today I took my Wreck this Journal journal to the park for an outing, a little fresh air, some sunshine. Then I burned it up.

OMG, Wow, talk about destruction! Now that’s a lesson in letting go. Nice work. And, mmmm burnt marshmallows are the best on s’mores.
you are a star! What guts to really wreck it..let it go.. I’m not reay to destroy mine yet
but BRAVO BRAVO to you!!!!!1
OMG! You totally went for it!! If I’d had a pit to throw it in, I think I would have burned up my journal too after all the fire difficulties I had with mine. Totally love the wtj marshmellow!
Best use of a journal I ever saw! Mmmmm, s’mores……
It’s funny, when we started almost two months ago I wasn’t too sure about getting it wet or burning it, but I did both eventually. And with gusto. The resident college student was APPALLED at the fire but ate the somemore’s just fine anyway. hehehe I’m mulling over the overall experience for posting one last time next week. Meanwhile, I have totally loved visiting everyone’s wrecking pages and vicariously participating in so many unique versions of wreckering of all kinds … THANK YOU WRECK STARS ONE AND ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ohmigosh! OOOOOOO! You toasted it? You flambed it! My jaw dropped open. Wow.
That is cool! You totally went for it. Well Done and you’re one hell of a WRECKSTAR!
Oh wow, Its gone! :.) There is always another one. Happy wrecking.
Have you burnt it to ashes? I mean, is anything left? (Can’t believe it)
A little fresh air, sunshine and lots of HEAT! Wow! You really let it burn to ashes! I don’t think I could do that. But you did get to eat some yummy s’mores! You obviously had that all planned out. I look forward to one last visit with you next week!
Woo! That took some guts. I accidentally ended up with two journals due to a slight mix up with my online ordering. Would you like another???
I can’t close my dropped jaw :O
At first I thought you had just burned the page and then I realized you incinerated the whole thing. I am impressed. I bow to you wrecking master!!! And that it was used to toast marshmallow for s’mores – well – that just seals the deal. AMAZING!!
My mouth is still hanging open at the sight of your burning journal! How wonderful and freeing! I’m not sure I’ve come far enough in letting go to do that yet, but maybe by the time I’m done, I will be able to do it!
Bravo!
I swear I just had to restart my heart – You burned it up…totally burned it up. WOW.
Now that was some barbecue!
Great wrecking!
OMG! I had to look 3 times before I believed it! I need some closure! Please, if you are so inclined, I’d love to see a post on how that felt?
Geez, I just went back and looked again. Is it totally gone? Just a memory and the slight taste of yummy smores are all that’s left?
I stand in awe before your greatness, oh master.
You are so BRAVE for completely destroying your journal. I could never have excercised restraint if I saw my journal up in flames. I would have wanted to rescue it.
OH MY!
I came to say thank you for your comment, and was completely wowed by the burning! Ahhhh. My mouth is completely open…and wishing I could stuff it with a smore.
Oh my goodness! Your whole book up in smoke. Fabulous wrecking!
Wow – I’m not sure what to do after I’m “done” wrecking, although I had thought of doing something similar. Had not thought of the marshmallow, though!
Speaking of synchronicity, Matt Blair writing over at excellent Elsewise Media Scrapbook just popped up a quote that sort of relates/explains what I did. Right down to the last word. Check it out:
