Let’s Wreck this Journal

For the next few weeks I am playing Wreck this Journal on the interwebz. I gather it might be fun, maybe interesting, maybe even a bit reckless. Dunno about that, how much trouble can you get into with a paperback book? Anyhoo. You are welcome to play! All you need is a copy of the book and a little time to mess around with it. Click on the book and get all the wicked deets straight from the head Wreck this Journal instigator extraordinaire, Jamie Ridler.

Let’s find out just exactly how much trouble you can get into with a paperback book, hehe.
And I’m reveling in the title Instigator Extraordinaire – thank you!

Let the adventure begin!

@Genie Sea Oh yeah! Me, too. hehehe :)

Wicked recklessness!! WooHoo!

Lissa June 5, 2009 at 12:45 pm

It won’t be any fun if we don’t get into some trouble, let’s do some damage:)

Lori June 5, 2009 at 5:18 pm

I think I’m ready for a little recklessness! Let’s be reckless together.

Barbara Martin June 5, 2009 at 11:17 pm

@Cynthia @Lissa @Lori Let’s be a little bit careful out there — we gotta last through the whole book!

Getting ready to tie the string tightly around the thing’s spine and dangle it from a high place — trying to decide between a bridge or out the window of a tall building and should it be done by day or at night? More worried about hurting passersby than damaging the darn book, it’s already kinda dogeared. So much for day one! :)

Them’s fightin’ words! Or famous last words. Some kinda words.

melita June 9, 2009 at 9:50 am

looking forward to seeing how you “wreck” :)

Barbara Martin June 9, 2009 at 1:45 pm

@Sherri Adventure ahead!! Lookout!! My journal is getting a little … dogeared already.

@Knitting Journeyman …. a wreckin we shall go: next up: round and round the mulberry bush and POP goes the journal!

@Kim Fightin’ words for sure. Oddly enough, I am finding myself writing in the thing — of all the crazy activities?! So much for WORDS. :)

@Melita I’m looking forward to seeing what I do to it, too. Hope there’s something left of it when the time is up?! ohmy

Valarie June 9, 2009 at 4:48 pm

It’s so good to see you wrecking this week. I’m getting into all sorts of trouble. This is so much fun.

Barbara Martin June 9, 2009 at 7:25 pm

@Valarie The more the merrier! One big slaphappy mess! :)

Kim June 9, 2009 at 8:54 pm

Did someone say “trouble”? What FUN! Looking forward to the wreckage!!

Barbara Martin June 10, 2009 at 12:54 pm

Hey everybody … and @Kim! I am starting to think all the wrecker people have Trouble with a capital T for their middle name. :)
